I’d like to cry

At the feet of my willow

where broken things lie

I’d give up my waters

To nourish its roots

turning pain into pulses of truth

Breathing beings

Like you and I

turning pain into life

i’d give up my ego

To walk the Rocky Road

that leads to my Willow

it overlooks the vastness of the sea

i could stumble into a new journey

Water salty, different though

from the tears, i left my willow

i’d give up the stars, each one individually

It would take me eternity to walk that Rocky journey
